The\u00a0mechanical interface<\/strong>\u00a0consists in all those components that allow the coupling of the encoder to the machine or device of application, which are:<\/p>\n

  1. An\u00a0axle<\/strong>, connected to the shaft of the machine in rotation, designed in accordance to the type of fixing:
    \nsolid shaft<\/strong>,\u00a0blind and through hollow shaft<\/strong>;<\/li>\n
  2. A\u00a0flange<\/strong>, which fixes and adjusts the encoder to its support;<\/li>\n
  3. A\u00a0case<\/strong>\u00a0(or\u00a0body<\/strong>), which contains and protects the disc and the electronic components.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Elastic couplings<\/strong>\u00a0can also be employed to adapt the fixing between the motor shaft and the encoder.<\/p>\n
